🎉 The Role

Context

Our research team focus on advancing precision medicine through innovative computational approaches in pediatric oncology and rare diseases. As part of our internal research initiatives, we are looking for a Master’s 2 intern in bioinformatics to join us in developping innovative analytical methods.

Main missions

The intern will actively participate in the development and evaluation of bioinformatics tools for transcriptomic data analysis in the context of pediatric oncology. The missions will include :

• Benchmark, development and optimization of RNA-seq data analysis pipelines for alternative splicing event detection
• Implementation of computational prediction tools and machine learning algorithms for biomarkers identification
• Pipeline performance evaluation and optimization (reproducibility, FAIR data)
• Management and exploration of public transcriptomic databases
• Development of interfaces for visualization and exploration (shiny applications)
